Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas at our house this year. It is always our tradition on Christmas Eve to open presents containing new pajamas. That is always something everyone looks forward to. Kerry and Shalisa came over for that. And then went home to have Christmas morning at their own home. Josh, Ashley, Karder and Jarrit spent the night at our house. So we had a house full. It was fun! Kerry and Shalisa came back early Christmas morning so we could call Elder Brown. We talked to Kent on the phone for over an hour. He is doing so good! It was great to hear his voice again. Kerry and Kent spent some time talking back and forth in their different languages. Kerry speaks Spanish. He went on his mission to Leon Mexico. Kent speaks Portuguese. He is in Cape Verde West Africa. The awesome part about that is the language is different but similar enough that they could understand what each other was saying. It was fun to listen to them. Kent ended our conversation with his testimony in Portuguese. I couldn't understand the words. But I could feel the Spirit as he bore testimony of our Savior. It was beautiful. I looked around the room at that time and all I could think was, "this is what it is all about." Christmas was perfect at that moment.

Ashley made Karder and Jarrit new blankets for Christmas. They turned out really cute
SISTERS!
Kerry and Shalisa came over to open pajamas on Christmas Eve
Wasn't me!!! Tanner got Scubby Do pj's on Christmas Eve.
Sarah and LaWren got their family a puppy this year. They asked us to watch it on Christmas Eve. So they could surprise their family Christmas morning. Karder loved this puppy

Santa was good to us this year!
Waiting for everyone to get in the room. So we can start opening presents.
More opening of presents
This was a great moment. Karder LOVES baseball. He will find anything that resembles a bat and ball and play. Papa found him a bat and ball set. His eyes where huge when he opened his present. He thought that was the greatest present ever!
Heidi got a memory game. She likes to talk anyone that is around to play it with her whenever she can. Tanner got a new coat. That is why he is wearing it in the house.
Jarrit got a sit and spin. He loves it
Braxton got Kynex for Christmas. He loves to put things together. He made an awesome car out of these Kynex. It even moves on it's own. Josh was an awesome big brother this year. He helped Braxton put together his car. As well as help Heidi put together her doll house. Those are always things Kerry and Kent did for us. Josh stepped in and took that roll this year. Thank you Josh!
