The twins are home
Ashley and Josh were able to bring the twins home yesterday about noon. They brought them home and fed them and then I got to help give them their bath and dress them. I covered them in baby lotion. They smelled so yummy. That was followed by lots of kisses, of course. And then they brought them to see Grandpa (Grampy) Brown. He held them and loved on them. He was very happy to see them. And then they brought them to our house for the kids to see. We had all the kids take showers and change their clothes that they had on from school, before they held them. They were passed around alot! But they didnt seem to care. Bill was finally able to hold them for the first time last night. He has been sick for the past 2 weeks. So he only saw them on the day the were born. He didn't want to let them go when it was time for them to go home. It is wonderful to finally be able to have them home and hold them without being hooked up to a bunch of machines.

I am so happy for them. How did the first night home go?
I called her this morning and asked how there night went. She said they were up every 3 hours. Which makes since. At the hospital they fed them regularly every 3 hours. She said that she had to lay down and take a nap this morning. I told her to try and take naps when she can during the day. Josh took the week off so he is a big help right now. I will probably go stay there this weekend. Help a little with the night feedings.
I am so glad everyhting is going so well!! I'm sure Grampy just loved on them as much as he could! Bill will be a fun grandpa. He'll be the type to "teach" them so many, many things.
YAY!!! They're home :) Great to hear that they're home and doing well. It would have been such a sight to see Moyle holding those babies... the bridges of time seem to close the gap between generations. Those are some of the most precious memories that are etched in the heart.
I can imagine Bill being a grandpa...what fun those two will have :D
I'm so happy for you all! What a blessing to have them home and healthy! It sounds like all of the rest of your kids are super busy. I got tired just reading about everything they were doing!
