State Baseball Champs 16-0!

Four players from the jv team where chosen to play in the State tournament with the varsity team. Tristan was chosen to be their backup catcher. He went out in between each inning and warmed up the pitcher. He was very excited to be a part of this big day! Tristan is a Freshman this year. Fruitland played their first game against Priest River. The second game was against Kimberly. And the championship game was against their old rival Payette. Fruitland won 16-0!!! The boys also won the academic award. They had the highest GPA as a team in the state. Fruitland is the first team since 1987 to have won 3 major state titles (football, basketball and baseball) in one year. Great accomplishment boys!
